Cecil Lonzo Daniels, Jr., 68, of Marked Tree, Arkansas passed away at his home on August 12, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1955 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Cecil Lonzo Daniels, Sr. and Joyce (Taylor) Daniels. Cecil was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include; loving wife of 43 years: Sharon Daniels of Trumann, Arkansas; two sons: Harden Daniels of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Benny Daniels (Steffani) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one daughter: Cecilia Daniels of Trumann, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Rylie, Trevor, Makenna, Brooklyn, Trace, Alana, Statham, Cecil, Chase, Koti; one sister: Judy Markcum of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four brothers: James Daniel of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Joe Sullins of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Chester Markcum of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Donald Daniels of Huntsville, Alabama; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents; and one sister: Jody Markcum. Pallbearers: Trey Jenkins, Chester Markcum, Douglas Brown, Robert Jones, Harden Daniels, and Frankie Ivy. Honorary pallbearers: Trevor Thompson and James Daniel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Black Oak Baptist Church in Black Oak, Arkansas with Bro. Mark Constant officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the funeral service at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
