Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 10, 2025 – Arkansas State men’s basketball associate head coach Tee Butters has been invited to attend the Silver Waves Media Elite 75 Rising Stars Power Lunch, an event taking place during the Men’s Final Four on April 3 in San Antonio, Texas.

The event is among the most prestigious in college basketball each year, featuring 75 of the top assistant coaches from around the country and providing opportunities to meet with Athletic Directors, Associate ADs and search firms during a lunch event the week of the Final Four.

Butters is in his second season at A-State, his first as associate head coach, helping the Red Wolves to an 18-7 record and 9-3 mark in conference play so far this year. The Red Wolves are the Sun Belt’s highest-ranked team in both NET and KenPom, recording program-best rankings in each this season.

Prior to being elevated to associate head coach, Butters helped the Red Wolves win 20 Division-I victories for the fourth time in school history and first time since 1991.

Before joining A-State, Butters was among 12 participants in the 2022 Jay Bilas Coaches Leadership Program and has been a quick riser in the coaching ranks. In addition to his four seasons as Associate Head Coach at Charleston Southern (2019-23), he also spent two years (2017-19) as Assistant Coach after three years as Director of Operations and Video Coordinator (2014-17).

The Red Wolves return to action Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., hosting Southern Miss to begin a four-game home stand.
