Brenda Ramsey Greene, 82, of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. She was born February 1, 1942, in Paragould, to Charlie and Charlene McLauchlin. Brenda was a proud 1960 graduate of Paragould High School. The lifelong friends she made throughout school meant so much to Brenda. She looked forward to their reunions and never missed a chance to catch up. Brenda was an avid reader. Baseball and football were among two of her many interests. There was nothing like cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals or a good Razorback basketball game. As an Elvis fan, Brenda enjoyed his songs as well as his movies.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Michael Thomas; brother, Charles McLauchlin; and sister, Linda Bishop.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Greene; grandchildren, Mallory McNatt (Josh) and Meredith Coy (Mason); great-grandchildren, Miller Coy, Leo McNatt, and Remi McNatt; and nephews, Ray Bishop, Danny Bishop, and Johnny McLauchlin.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jason Noel officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
