Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – The Jonesboro Police Department on Thursday announced the arrest of a Bono woman accused of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to the news release, JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Division received a tip from the Arkansas State Police on Nov. 4 regarding CSAM.
The release said this material was uploaded to a Snapchat account on Sept. 4.
“Digital evidence through social media depicted a juvenile girl between the ages of 8 and 10 years old, depicting sexual assault committed by an adult,” the release said.
Police submitted a warrant to Snapchat, and within the associated accounts, two videos related to CSAM were found. The account owner was 48-year-old Nichole Ley of Bono, the release said.
“She was taken into custody this morning and is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center awaiting her probable cause hearing,” the release said.
