Jonesboro, AR — (JonesboroRightNow.com) — May 12, 2025 — A Bono man is facing multiple felony charges after a traffic stop in Jonesboro led to the discovery of narcotics.
On May 10, a JPD officer was patrolling near the intersection of W. Johnson Avenue and Culberhouse Street when he saw a white passenger car with window tint darker than state law allows. A check of the vehicle’s registration revealed unconfirmed insurance, so there was a traffic stop.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old Isaac Kelley, appeared nervous and admitted to having no insurance, the probable cause affidavit said. The officer smelled marijuana and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.
Inside a backpack, the officer found 33 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 10 “Big Chief” brand THC vape pens, six “Jetter Juice” THC pens, a digital scale, and additional marijuana-related items. Nine grams of marijuana were also found in a jar behind the passenger seat.
According to the affidavit, Kelley admitted to purchasing narcotics in Missouri and returning to Jonesboro to sell them. He was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center, where an additional 12.9-gram bag of mushrooms was found on his person.
Kelley is charged with one count of possession with purpose to deliver, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of improper window tint, and one count of no proof of insurance. His bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety.
