Betty Sue Passmore, a beacon of love and passion in every life she touched, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, in Paragould.  Born on the last day of 1942 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, Betty’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her faith, and her calling as a registered nurse.

Her passions extended beyond her professional life.  Betty was an avid gardener, finding joy in the simple pleasure of tending to her plants and flowers.  She also had an affinity for Blue Grass music, and she traveled to festivals, her heart always in tune with the melodies that she loved.

As a preacher’s wife, Betty was deeply involved in her church, contributing to its growth and community spirit.  Her faith was an integral part of who she was, and she lived it out with grace and devotion.  She was a pillar in her church, offering support and kindness to all who needed it.

Above all, Betty cherished time spent with her family.  They were the center of her universe, and she was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones.  Her presence at family gatherings was always a source of comfort and joy, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her and loved her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Mary Ellen Barber; son, Thomas Passmore; daughter, Tammy Passmore; and four brothers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William Passmore; sons, David and Hunter Passmore; daughter, Cindy Passmore; brother, Danny Barber; sister, Blanche Holden; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Keasha, Kassidy, Hannah, Daniel, Victoria, and Lillian; and several great-grandchildren.
