Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Best Buy has confirmed the retail technology store will be returning to Jonesboro later this year.
A company spokesperson told JRN that they could confirm that Best Buy has plans to open later this year at 2010 Caraway Road. However, no additional details were made available.
The spokesperson added, “We’re thrilled to be returning to Jonesboro and look forward to welcoming customers back soon.”
In 2020, a tornado went through the Turtle Creek Shopping Center in Jonesboro and flattened the Best Buy. The store closed permanently in the region. In a Best Buy blog post, Alex Trufin, general manager of the store at the time, said, “It was like a punch in the gut. I’ve spent nearly half my life in that store. But then, I realized something. Everyone survived. In fact, there were no injuries at all.”
The new Jonesboro store will open in Highland Square on Caraway Road and Highland Drive. Other tenants in the center include Michaels and Ross. JRN will provide additional details when they are available.
