Barbara Jean Brumley, 89, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born March 3, 1935 in Clover Bend to the late William Ed “Bill” and Gladys Boeing Quarry. She was a homemaker who loved to garden, cook and spend time with her two great-grandkids. She enjoyed going to Branson with her husband before he passed

She is survived by her granddaughter, Stacy Slaughter (Charles); great-grandchildren, Mollybeth Drew and Carson Slaughter all of Jonesboro; a brother, Jerry Quarry and sister, Pat Winfrey both of Walnut Ridge and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton B. Brumley; daughter, Kathy A. Brumett; son-in-law, Phil Brumett; four brothers, Ed Quarry, Burl Quarry, Carroll Quarry and Kenneth Quarry.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Clover Bend Cemetery with Roger Brumley officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
