Open House Dates:

Bay School District:
  • K-12 open house is July 30
Brookland Public Schools:
  • Aug. 11: Open house for primary, junior high, and high school students
  • Aug. 13: Open house for elementary, intermediate, and middle school students
Buffalo Island Central Schools:
  • Aug. 6, 5:30-7 p.m.: Open house for elementary students
  • Aug. 10, 5:30-7 p.m.: Open house for high school students
Jonesboro Public Schools:
  • Aug. 4, Academies at JHS: 10th grade open house is from 6-7 p.m., 11th-12th grade open house is 7-8 p.m.
  • Aug. 5, Jonesboro Pre-K: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 6, Elementary Magnet Schools: 1st grade open house is 5:30-6 p.m., 2nd-6th grade open house is 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 10, Annie Camp and MacArthur Junior High Schools: 7th grade open house is 5:30-7 p.m., 8th-9th grade open house is 7-8 p.m.
    • There will also be a parent informational meeting for kindergarten parents this same day at the Jonesboro Kindergarten Center at 5:30 p.m. Students do not attend this session.
Nettleton Public Schools:
  • Aug. 10:
    • 5-5:30 p.m.: All Pre-K students at Fox Meadow, University Heights, and STEAM elementaries
    • 5:30-6:30 p.m.: All 1st and 2nd grade students at Fox Meadow, University Heights, and STEAM elementaries
    • 5:45-7:15 p.m.: Fox Meadow School of Creative Media, STEAM Intermediate, University Heights School of Medical Arts
    • 5-6 p.m.: Only 9th grade students at Nettleton High School
    • 6:30-8 p.m.: Nettleton Junior High, students in 10th-12th grades at Nettleton High School
    • 5:30-7 p.m.: Nettleton Learning Center
Riverside Public Schools:
  • Aug 4, 7-8 p.m.: Open house for high school students
  • Aug. 6, 6-8 p.m.: Open house for Riverside East and Riverside West elementary students
Valley View Public Schools:
  • Aug. 6:
    • Open house for 3rd-4th grade from 4:30-6 p.m., with a parent meeting scheduled in the middle school cafeteria from 6-6:30 p.m.
    • Open house for 7th-9th grades 6-7 p.m., with a parent meeting scheduled from 5:30-6 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center
    • Open house for 10th-12th grades from 5:30-6:30 p.m., with a parent meeting scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Blazer Arena
  • Aug. 10:
    • Drop-in open house for pre-K and kindergarten from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • Open house for pre-first and 1st grade 5-5:45 p.m.; parent meeting scheduled in the elementary cafeteria from 5:45-6:15 p.m.
    • Open house for 2nd grade from 6:15-7 p.m.
    • Open house for 5th-6th grade from 5-6 p.m., with a parent meeting scheduled for 6-6:30 p.m. in the middle school cafeteria
Westside Consolidated School District:
  • Aug. 4, 6-8 p.m.: Open house for pre-K, kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, and 8th grade students
  • Aug. 6, 6-8 p.m.: Open house for 2nd-4th grade, 6th-7th grade, and 9th-12th grade

Free and Reduced-Price Meals Applications:

As a note, due to recent legislation, all students in Arkansas public schools that participate in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program can receive one breakfast each school day at no cost, regardless of eligibility for free or reduced-price meals.
