Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 3, 2025 – The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $5,000 grant to the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation’s Medicine Assistance Program, which helps patients receive life-saving prescription medication at no cost.

In 2023, the program provided $4.76 million in prescription medication to residents who could not otherwise afford them.

“On behalf of the Arvest Foundation, we are proud to support the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation’s Medicine Assistance Program,” said Kevin Hufstedler, community bank president for Arvest Bank – Jonesboro region. “This grant will help them continue providing vital services to meet needs throughout Northeast Arkansas.”

Arvest Bank has also supported the organization’s Duck Classic fundraiser for many years with monetary donations, along with associates volunteering to help with and participate in the hunt. Last year, the event raised $860,000.

“For over 23 years, NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation has helped to meet the needs of thousands of families across our community,” said Kim Provost, NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation Executive Director. “We can continue this mission thanks to the generosity of donors like the Arvest Foundation.”
