Brookland, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – October 1, 2024 – A Craighead County school has been the target of yet another school threat.
According to a post on the district’s Facebook page, Brookland Public Schools said a threat was reported to school administrators near the end of classes on Tuesday,
School officials investigated the threat and turned the information gathered over to police.
The post indicated that an arrest was made. The post indicated the investigation continues. No other information was made available.
Brookland isn’t the only school in the county that has dealt with threats. Jonesboro, Valley View and Nettleton have also experienced similar threats. Several minors have been arrested in connection with the threats. 19-year-old Logan Cody Jones, of Pocahontas, was arrested on Sept. 25 and is being held on a $1 million bond in connection with a threat made at Brookland.
