NORTH POLE – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – It’s tough to be a kid, especially around this time of year when Christmas Eve anticipation hits.
Fortunately, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has provided a way for children of all ages to keep track as Santa makes his annual trek around the world delivering presents and joy. The Santa Tracker program helps the whole family sleep a little easier.
In addition to keeping an eye on Santa, the NORAD Tracks Santa website has activities that kids can do throughout the day.
NORAD will begin tracking at midnight on Dec. 24 as Santa launches from the North Pole. The online tracker will officially go live at 5 a.m. CST on Christmas Eve and will remain active until Santa finishes his 2025 run, which is expected to be around midnight.
Kids can tune into Santa’s whereabouts through NORAD by calling toll-free at 1-877-HI-NORAD, sending an email to noradtrackssanta@outlook.com, using the official NORAD Tracks Santa apps, or following NORAD on Facebook and Twitter.
JonesboroRightNow will also be following Santa as he completes his yearly circuit. We’ll be sending out a reminder on Christmas Eve so Craighead County kids don’t miss a single moment.
