Ann King Tapp, 88, of Grubbs, Arkansas died on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Ann graduated from Tuckerman High School in 1951 when she was 15 years old.  She retired from Farm Credit in 1989 after thirty-eight years of employment, and was a member of the Grubbs Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fallon and Lillie King, husband, Carl Tapp, sister, Lee Ola Tate, and brother-in-law, Jody Tapp.  Ann is survived by her daughter, Jodi Tapp Blackford, grandson, Jason Blackford, nieces, Cheryl Tate Osborn (Lewis), Karen Tate Roberts (Rob), nephew, Kevin Tate (Angie), sisters-in-law, Barbara Tapp Bradley (Raymond) and Peggy Tapp Hoffmeister, brother-in-law, Don Tapp (Ludie), godson, Don Rubottom, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of great friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Ballew’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church near Grubbs with Larry J. Jordan officiating.  Interment will follow at Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Allen, Mike Allen, Brian Anschultz, Dustin Campbell, Billy Littleton, and Bobby Littleton.  Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Tate, Josh Campbell, Jeremy Tate, Zach Tate, Brody Swick, Scott Bradley, Doug Tapp, and Jeff Tapp.
