Mr. Allen Jones of Cash, departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 69.
He was born October 29, 1954, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of the late Edward Martenice Jones and Loretta Williams Jones.
Following high school, Allen worked at the Rice Mill in Weiner for about 10 years. The rest of his life, he worked for Keith Kinard Farms. He enjoyed hunting and dancing and loved motorcycles and his many dogs through the years. He enjoyed visiting people and just driving around and spotting deer. He loved guns and was a huge gun collector.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Kathy Darlene Jones and Myrtle Crenn Scott, one daughter, Felecia Jones and a granddaughter, Becca Jones.
He is survived by one daughter, Shalon Davis and her husband Shane of Hot Springs, two sons, Christopher Jones and his wife Christie of Mountain View, and Adam Jones of West Memphis, two stepchildren, John Wagley of Walnut Ridge and Monica Scott of Jonesboro, two brothers, Charlie Jones and his wife Glenda of Waldenburg, and Danny Jones of Ravenden Springs, one sister, Shirley martin and her husband Randy of Jonesboro, eight grandchildren, Felisha Davis of Hot Springs, Caleb Jones, Jacob Jones and his wife Jasmine, Tyler Jones, Dylan Jones, all of Mountain View, Hudson Davis and Ethan Davis, both of Hot Springs, and Caden Jones of West Memphis, five Great Grandchild, Kyson, Miles, Amaya, Castiel and Skylar.
Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. David Howard officiating. Interment will follow in Waldenburg Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday, Noon till service time.
