Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 29, 2024 – Over the weekend, AG for Autism hosted their second annual Day of Family Fun and Grant Giving at ASU Student activity center.
AG for Autism is a local non profit created by an allegiance of agriculture businesses to help local families affected by Autism.
This year they celebrated with sensory friendly activities and games. Adults were welcome to visit the 10 vendors and learn about local resources. The non-profit gave 52 individual grants, 11 non-profit grants, and 17 school grants.
Lauryn Tacker, an AG for Autism Board member and parent of a child with Autism reports “Since 2012, this organization has given over 1 million dollars back to the Autism community. We have grown in the past 3 years thanks to our NEA Sponsors.”
Their mission hopes to continue to bring education about Autism to rural areas.
