Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 2, 2024 – Abilities Unlimited on Union Ave is no stranger to thefts and illegal dumping.
Just this week, a post on their Facebook page acknowledged that their recycling center location was overrun with what most would call trash.
Photos showed a couch, a mattress, and other large furniture that was clearly destined for the dump. Rather than hauling these items to the landfill, it seems that someone “donated” them to Abilities Unlimited Recycling instead.
When items like this are donated but are not fit for sale in the retail store, the business is left to dispose of them properly.
In another post, Abilities shows video footage of a subject dropping off something that clearly goes against posted signs.
Abilities filed a police report over the weekend regarding the theft of a security camera on their building. The report states that a physical description of the suspect was given to police based on what the camera saw before it was ripped down.
The report states “a white male wearing a white bandanna and red shirt had been seen on the camera as he removed it.”
