Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Arkansas State volleyball head coach Brian Gerwig announced the addition of three signees to the 2026 roster on Wednesday, signing Calea Bush, Keira Garinger, and Eden Roethel.
Bush is set to join the Red Wolves out of Paetow High School, where she became the first volleyball athlete to join an NCAA Division I program in school history. The Katy, Texas, native placed third on the team with 168 kills and led with 68 total blocks during her junior campaign in 2024.
Bush also played for the Texas Legacy Volleyball Club 16s team, where she earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. She is the sister of Jabari Bush, a redshirt freshman tight end for the Red Wolves.
Garinger will arrive in Jonesboro following her time at Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Tenn. She was named the 2024 Main Street Clarksville Player of the Year after tallying 285 kills, 73 service aces and 284 digs, earning District 13-AAA MVP honors as well.
She led the Wildcats to a 31-6 record and a fourth consecutive region title, culminating in a sectionals appearance.
The final signing day addition is Roethel, signing with the Red Wolves out of Living Word Lutheran High School in Jackson, Wisc. The West Bend, Wisc., native earned MCC First-Team All-Conference and WIAA All-State honors in 2024 and surpassed the 1,000 career kills milestone during her high school career.
