Isaia was voted the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week after a stellar series to win the men’s hammer throw on Friday. The Cape Girardeau, Mo., native cleared 4.06m (13-3.75) to win for the fifth time in the last eight meets dating back to indoor season – a stretch in which she has posted seven top-3 finishes. Pujol enters the week leading the Sun Belt by nearly a foot with a season- and career-best height of 4.30m (14-1.25) and is tied for 15th in the NCAA West Region.
