Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 22, 2025 -The Sun Belt Conference and ESPN announced Arkansas State men’s basketball’s home game against Appalachian State this Thursday will be televised on ESPN2.

With the announcement, tip-off for the nationally televised bout against the Mountaineers inside First National Bank Arena is now set for 8 p.m.  For Thursday’s contest against App State, A-State Athletics is announcing a “Stripe Out The Bank” theme.

Each section at FNB Arena is being designated as a “red” or “white” section, suggesting that fans sitting in that section wear primarily “red” or “white” so the arena will appear “striped” on television. According to A-State Athletics, A-State will have the lower bowl and courtside seats at First National Bank Arena covered with red and white t-shirts.

The matchup will be the Red Wolves’ second on national TV this season after an 85-72 win at No. 16/15 Memphis on Dec. 8 on ESPNU. A-State’s contest versus the Mountaineers will also mark the second straight season it has hosted a regular-season national TV broadcast after last season’s 79-71 win over Troy on Feb. 22, 2024.
