Daytona Beach, FL – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – (4/14/24) – Arkansas State University’s spirit squads spent last week in Daytona Beach competing in the 2024 National Dance Alliance (NDA) and National Cheerleading Association (NCA) competition.
The A-State dancers finished 11th place in the 25-team competition during preliminary competition on Thursday to earn a spot in the national competition on Friday where the team improved to finish 8th in the country. The A-State cheerleaders finished 7th in their 10-team division.
The A-State dancers are coached by Ellie Smith while the A-State cheerleaders are coached by Spirit Squad coordinator Ryan Salami.
