Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — July 8, 2025 — Arkansas State baseball head coach Mike Silva announced the addition of four signees to the 2026 roster on Tuesday.

Signees are Jalen Foxx, Cougar Cooke, Wes Pritchard, and Evan Griffis.

Foxx joins the Red Wolves after helping guide TNXL Academy to a National Academies Association National Championship in 2025. The Sanford, FL, native received an invite to the 2024 Perfect Game National Showcase and was named to the 2025 PG Preseason All-American and Florida All-Region First Teams.

He spent time as a left-handed pitcher and an outfielder during his time with the Ducks.

Cooke arrives in Jonesboro after slashing .238/.400/.429 with two doubles and six home runs in two seasons at Utah Valley. The infielder appeared in 11 games during the 2025 campaign, batting .236 with a .714 slugging percentage while crossing the plate three times.

Prior to his time in Orem, he earned two 3A East All-Region and All-State accolades along with Offensive Player of the Year honors at Show Low High School.

Pritchard will don the Scarlet and Black following one season at Mississippi State. He ranked fifth among Mississippi high school left-handed pitchers in 2024 according to Perfect Game, joining the Bulldogs out of Lamar High School.

Griffis transfers to A-State from Stetson, where he slashed .235/.349/.392 with 21 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, and 45 RBIs over three seasons. The outfielder made 102 starts over 139 games for the Hatters, helping guide the program to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances with two 40-plus win seasons.

Griffis signed with Stetson out of Lake Brantley High School, where he was ranked 68th nationally as an outfielder by Perfect Game and earned a PG Grade of nine.
