Paragould, AR – Contributed – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University will host a free in-person workshop, “Funding Your Business,” on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Generating Innovative Network, 208 N. Pruett St. in Paragould.

The workshop is designed for startup and existing business owners who need funding to launch, expand, or strengthen operations. Participants will learn how to separate fact from fiction when it comes to business funding, including the realities of small business grants, how business lending works, and what financing options may be available.

Topics will include business loan and guaranty programs, including SBA loans; microloans, grants, and other financing options; and common funding challenges and barriers, along with practical ways to overcome them.

Robert Bahn, A-State ASBTDC Business Consultant, will lead the session. The workshop is offered at no cost, but pre-registration is required by Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. To register, call 870-972-3517, or sign up at this link.
