Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — June 19, 2025 — Four Arkansas State student-athletes representing two different sports received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large recognition, the organization announced Tuesday.

Anne-Lea Lavoie and Olivia Coit from the A-State women’s golf team and Kaylee Back and Karli VanDuinen from the A-State bowling squad were recognized for their work in the classroom

Lavoie carries a 4.0 GPA as a management major, while Coit has a 3.84 GPA in sport management. Back holds a 3.82 GPA as an accounting major and VanDuinen possesses a 3.69 GPA in sport management.

The 2025 Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at their institution, be a starter or important reserve playing a minimum of 70% of contests and maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).
