Lit’l Bita Christmas attracts over 10,000 people from the Midsouth and brings in over 200 vendors selling anything from handmade arts and crafts, clothing, food and more. It began in 1987 to fund athletic scholarships.
“Arkansas State University participates at the highest level of NCAA athletics and has over 375 student-athletes. Each year, A-State Athletics provides educational opportunities for these student-athletes to the amount of over $2 million in tuition, room and board, books and fees,” according to the A-State Athletics website. “The proceeds from Lit’l Bita Christmas helps the Red Wolves Foundation offset a portion of those costs.”
A-State’s clear bag policy will be in place for the event. Approved bags must be no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or a one-gallon resealable storage bag. Clear clutch bags are allowed, provided they are no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″.
