Jonesboro, AR — (Contributed) — April 15, 2025 — The Delta Crawfish Festival, hosted by the Jonesboro Business Association (JBA), is set for its second annual celebration in May.
The festival will take place on May 3 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Gardens at Harmony, located at 4517 E. Parker Road.
For $40, attendees will enjoy an all-you-can-eat crawfish, with crawfish courtesy of Delta Crawfish. Food from the Cajun Café, Legend’s BBQ Smokehouse & Lounge and fresh handcrafted drinks from Simply the Main Squeeze will all be available for purchase. There will also be live music from The Arkansas Brothers.
Proceeds benefit JBA’s groundbreaking Grit-to-Growth Pipeline, an eight-year initiative supporting students from middle school to career launch through hands-on learning, mentorship, entrepreneurship training and workforce development.
“This is about more than just a meal,” said Henry Burrell, executive director of JBA. “Every crawfish plate, every song played, every dollar raised helps create opportunity for the next generation of leaders right here in Jonesboro.”
What started out serving only 40 students has grown into a powerful engine for change that now impacts more than 400 youth each year through JBA’s life-changing programs. From mentorship, interview coaching, career prep and job training to business pitch content, internships and long-term tracking to support academic, career and entrepreneurial success, JBA transforms futures—one student at a time.
“When we support our youth, we’re investing in the kind of community we all want to live in: one full of promise, progress, and purpose,” Burrell said.
