Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 23, 2024 – During a traffic stop conducted by JPD on Saturday, 44-year-old Andres Garcia was found to be in possession of drugs and firearms.
Additionally, he was wanted in three different states for human trafficking and other charges.
The report includes a long list of property that was seized from his vehicle including guns, rounds, drug paraphernalia with residue, and more.
The probable case affidavit reads: On 7-20-24 Jonesboro Officers conducted a traffic stop on a SUV near Main / College for a traffic violation. The driver of this vehicle was identified Andres Garcia. Officer found him to on probation and to have a restricted license. Officers also confirmed three felony warrants for Garcia and he was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. A k-9 was deployed and received a positive alert. A vehicle search was conducted, and Officers located a black bag containing a scale and a pill bottle with white residue on it. Garcia would advise that he was staying with a family member and stays in the living room and a bedroom. Officers would go to an address on Turner and conduct a search of the living room, a common bathroom, and a bedroom Officers were advised Garcia stays in. Inside this bedroom, Officers located a .308 Ar-15 style rifle next to Garcias bed in this residence. Officer located additional baggies with residue and a glass bong. Garcia was transported to the CCDC. Detectives would later locate multiple felony convictions for Garcia.
Garcia went before Judge Fowler on Monday and was given a $1,000,000 c/s bond. His next court date is August 23.
