Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 2, 2024 – A Blytheville man was sitting in the Craighead County Detention Center on Friday after District Judge Tommy Fowler set his bond at $1 million cash-only.

Michael Rodgers, 47, was arrested Wednesday, May 29, at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of East Nettleton Avenue.

An anonymous tip sent officers from the Jonesboro Police Street Crimes Unit to the complex about drug sales. Officers watched as four people went to an apartment within an hour’s time. Rodgers then left the complex and was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt.

A probation search of the apartment was conducted, and police found more than 5 ounces of powder cocaine, more than 10 ounces of methamphetamine, 318 grams of marijuana, 1,073 fentanyl pills, mushrooms, ecstasy pills, and digital scales.

Rodgers was charged with three counts of trafficking controlled substance, a class Y felony, possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver, a class A felony, possession of marijuana with the purpose to deliver, a class C felony and several misdemeanors.

His next court date is July 29 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
