The mishmash of street signs looks like overgrown weeds on a property needing to be condemned. It’s a visual hodge-podge…a flea market of signage.
The woman told police she took those items from the house so no one else would steal them.
Over $5000 worth of clothes and purses were shoplifted by two suspects from a mall store.
A Jonesboro man was given a $250,000 cash-only bond after being charged with vehicle theft and possession of drugs and guns.
“If we’re loading the kids in the car to go anywhere, I’ve got my head on a swivel, scanning everyone’s yard,” a resident said. “I keep myself between the truck and the dog until they’re all in the vehicle.”
“It was not what we wanted, but the people’s will is what’s important. We have to fix problems and I hope the other two paid enough attention.”
“I’ll approach it (the runoff) in the same way that I do mayor. I’ll wake up tomorrow, I’ll look forward and progress toward what we need to do to become mayor for the next four years.”
The suspect was asked to place his hands behind his back. Instead, he tried to run.
“Nothing says ‘please look at me’ like a giant skeleton sticking out the top of an orange Jeep.”
The line for early voting started forming at 6:30 am on the first day.
