Rebecca Lynn (Jones) Naylor, 67, of Jonesboro died peacefully at home in her sleep on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was born on January 14, 1957, in Stuttgart, AR to Marquis Jones and the late Leslie Ann Jeffries. She was an educator for more than 40 years, teaching in Hughes and West Memphis. She left the classroom to work in the Arkansas educational co-op system, and later at the Arkansas Department of Education as a literacy specialist before retiring in 2021. Beckie had an immense passion for her family, friends and pets, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was an active member of her church, where she sang in the choir. She loved to crochet and read in her free time.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ann, and a sister, Cindy.

She leaves behind her husband of over 40 years, Robert, and a daughter, Cathy. She also leaves her father, Marquis, and stepmother, Diane; brothers Paul and David (Beth); stepsister Michelle (Mike); and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 11:30am at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10am.

Memorial contributions may be made in Beckie’s memory to First Methodist Church of Jonesboro 4200 S. Caraway Road, Jonesboro, AR 72404; Northeast Arkansas Humane Society 6111 E. Highland Dr. Jonesboro, AR 72401; or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.
