Breanna Rose Curtis, 13, of Marmaduke, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024.
Breanna was born April 13, 2011 to Markus and Amber Eakins Curtis. She was a student at Marmaduke School District where she participated in many school activities. Breanna was a member of Beta Club, 4H, FBLA, Gifted and Talented, Quiz Bowl, Drama Club and Choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to all genres of music. Breanna loved to show her miniature horse Larry as well as raise frillback pigeons. She had a passion for animals and learning. One of Breanna’s favorite things to do was pick on her little sister Baylee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marmaduke and Delaplaine Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her; great-grandparents, Willard and Inez Eakins; great-grandfather, Donald Curtis; and great-grandmother, Barbra Douglas; and a host of many other relatives.
Breanna is survived by her parents, Markus and Amber Curtis; sister, Baylee Curtis; grandparents, Melvin and Debbie Eakins and Mark and Glenda Curtis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home with David Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in Pirtle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Mitchell Funeral Home.
