Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 2, 2024 – United Way of Northeast Arkansas’ Stuff the Bus is a community-wide school supply drive with multiple locations across Northeast Arkansas. Each year, Stuff the Bus draws parents, teachers, students, and residents across Northeast Arkansas together for the common goal of helping our students succeed in school. In 2023, 41,707 supplies were donated and distributed out to local schools.
We invite you to help Stuff the Bus on Saturday August 3rd from 9 – 3. Look for the BIG yellow school bus in front of your local Walmart.
The Stuff the Bus event will happen in 7 counties: Craighead, Cross, Greene, Lawrence, Mississippi, Poinsett, and Randolph. It will help provide school supplies for 20+ school districts including Brookland, Jonesboro, Nettleton, Westside, Valley View, Rivercrest, Osceola, Paragould, Greene County Tech, Maynard, Pocahontas, Bay, Trumann, Harrisburg, Imboden Area Charter School, Walnut Ridge, Hoxie, Wynne, Cross County.
Our most requested items include backpacks, refillable water bottles, headphones, and nap mats. Stuff the Bus is happening during Tax Free Weekend, allowing you to save more money and help ensure even more children are ready for the school year.
