Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 29, 2024 – It was a busy weekend for breaking and entering, according to Jonesboro police reports. About 2 dozen different instances involved people entering other people’s property and taking a wide variety of things. Here’s just a few examples:

A home on Rainwood is missing two big screen TVs. Electronics were stolen from a home on Johnson… a PS5, a Nintendo Switch and a couple thousand dollars worth of camera equipment.

A home on Covey had the refrigerator stolen. A weed eater and a leaf blower are gone from a house on Flint. And from a house on Broadmoor, crooks stole quite a few weapons… several handguns, rifles and shotguns…gone.

Some thieves went big and took a BMW from a front yard on Dupwe. Plus, they grabbed a big screen TV and $500 that was “hidden” in a freezer.

A majority of the residential break-ins this weekend involved thieves forcing their way into an unoccupied home, either by breaking a window or kicking in a door.

There were several reports of vehicle break-ins too. A report from Belt Street came from a woman who’s now missing her drivers license, several cash cards and a money order for $830. She told officers that she’d left the doors unlocked.
