Jennetta Marie Farmer, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away, Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice. She was born on February 9, 1943, in Clover Bend to Wm. F ”Jeff” and Dicie Broadaway. Jennetta was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at the Glass Factory and at General Electric. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting and raising birds.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Norris Broadaway and Ray Broadaway; sister, Barbara McDaniel.
Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Kenneth D. ”Bud” Farmer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday, July 29, 2024, 1:00 pm, at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Wynndel King officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Farmer, LD Farmer, Tim Jones, Earl Bracken, Ronnie Coots and Tommy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be the SR. Men’s Class from Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and
Danny Moody.
A visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro.
