Brenda Bennett passed away July 21, 2024 at her home in Marmaduke. Born on August 12, 1951, in Casa Grande, AZ, Brenda was the daughter of Lorene and Marcus Jordan.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her daughters Mindy Wolfenbarger and Heather Bennett, her grandson Fletcher Smith, her sister Charlene Kile, and her brother Lawrence Lenderman.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene Bennett: her children Kim (Kenny) Long, Lori Bennett James, Bryan (Jenny) Bennett, and Tammy (Jarod) Stinson; and her grandchildren Jordan Long, Jackson Long, Molly James, Gracie James, Max Bennett, Jayden Stone, Riley Bennett, Corey Smith, Justin Smith, Evan Stinson, Jonah Smith, Sawyer Smith and Charlotte Smith. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Janet (Tim) Stone, her brother-in-law Eddie (Darnelle) Bennett, her sister-in-law Linda Lenderman and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Marmaduke First Baptist Church, and served as the Cafeteria Manager, at the Marmaduke School District prior to retirement.
Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose greatest joy was her family. She especially loved shopping, cooking for her family, and having her family home for Christmas, a time everyone anticipated. Her famous Christmas candy was a cherished tradition that brought warmth and sweetness to the holiday season.
Brenda was also a foster mom who opened her home and heart to many foster children over the years, providing them with love and stability.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke with the service starting at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke.

Brenda Bennett’s legacy of love, generosity and faith will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
