Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 16, 2024 – Over the weekend, Jonesboro Police were dispatched to the corner of Mockernut Lane and Hibiscus Court about a stolen street sign.
Sharon Cecil lives near the intersection and she told police that she had video footage of two unidentified males jump out of a light colored truck, approach the street sign and together, they shook it loose from the ground.
They then loaded the sign into the back of the truck and got back into the vehicle and left.
Cecil did notice that there were already a number of other street signs in the bed of the truck. Police are investigating.
