Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 2, 2024 – In true southern fashion, an armed robbery and a fight broke out at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Jonesboro last week.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers responded to the scene in reference to a disturbance. A male subject pulled up to the victim, pointed a firearm at him and stated, “give me everything you’ve got.”
The victim refused at which time the male subject physically attacked him with the help of other male subjects who were with him. All subjects then got into a grey Ram truck and drove away.
Coincidentally, a woman who was sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot saw the incident occur. When police arrived, she told them that the suspect in the Ram truck who pointed the gun at the victim was 19-year-old Caden Green, the father of her child.
Officers were able to investigate the incident and make an arrest over the weekend.
Green was given a $100,000 c/s bond for Aggravated Robbery.
