Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 14, 2024 – On Thursday afternoon, Jonesboro Police were called to an apartment complex on Samantha Drive for a reported stabbing.
Radio traffic indicated that there had been a disturbance in the area a few minutes prior, but that the two subjects had gone their separate ways.
By the time 911 was called, one subject had stabbed the other in the mouth… with a fork.
The report states that a 45-year-old male and a 65-year-old male got into a fight, causing the former to “punch” the latter in the face while he had a fork in his hand. This caused the “stabbing.”
Officers observed streaks of blood on the ground around the area of the apartment complex along with one large pool of blood. The victim had four small puncture wounds on the left side of his face under his eye.
A citation was issued for Battery in the 3rd degree and the suspect was given a court date of August 12 at 9am.
