Lynne Langford, 74, passed away from this Earth to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

She was born February 9, 1950 in Jonesboro. When she transferred to Little Rock with Shoney’s South, Inc., she trained for other positions in the company and could have moved up but felt it necessary to be home more with Stacey. She then taught at Heritage Christian School. She taught Kindergarten and High School Choir, and after the move home, she taught choir and piano lessons. She went on to teach private lessons in her home.

She was a member of Trinity Church for twenty years, where she was on the worship team. She went to work as a secretary, bookkeeper and wedding director for eight years. She was also active in the media ministry. She is now a member of City Gate Worship Center. She also worked for Harold Timmons and Donna Timmons Manning in their two business and was in the Optimist Club. Over the years she helped Lloyd at the Langford Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Love Langford, Jr.; her grandparents who raised her and her mother and father.

She is survived by her children, Stacey Janda (Tim) of Bartlett, TN and Matthew Cushing (Jan) of Whitehall; grandchildren, Chris, Aaron and Makayla Janda and Harleigh Jo Bean; four precious great-grandchildren, Sophie, Emma, Avery and Christian and a host of friends.

A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
