Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 6, 2024 – A published report says Jerry Halsey, Jr. has assumed sole ownership of the Jonesboro real estate firm Halsey Thrasher Harpole.
According to Talk Business & Politics, the other two original owners – Roddy Thrasher and Gary Harpole – will remain with the company, but Halsey will be the sole owner.
Halsey told TB&P Editor-in-Chief Roby Brock “we didn’t really swap dollars as much as we just divided the assets.” When asked about Thrasher and Harpole, Halsey told Brock, “They’re still here. Their names are still on the door. They’re getting to go out and do their developments, their business, and I think we’ve worked it out where everybody kind of has their lane.”
Halsey said, “We had 10 years of a good run and most of it was a good time.”

The Halsey Thrasher Harpole leadership has been the subject of several service appointments by Arkansas Govenor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Halsey was appointed to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. He served as the Craighead County campaign chairman for Sanders. Halsey’s wife, Cheri, was appointed by Sanders to the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion Commission and Harpole to the Arkansas State University Board of Trustees.
