Linda Jane Hallmark, 79, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1944, in Jonesboro to Ralph and Jewel (Kemper) Kirksey. Linda obtained her master’s degree and worked as a teacher for 25 years. She was a member of the Washington Avenue Church of Christ, and she loved painting, reading, yarn works, and of course being MiMi’s taxi service.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Ernie Hallmark, and her parents.
Those left to remember Linda are her son, Don (Cathy) Hallmark; daughter Kim (Andy) Brodell; grandchildren, Amber, Catherin, Amelia, CathyJoe, April, Skye, Chris, and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Conner, Stormi, Rowan, Chole, Sebastian, Toby, Jude, Archer, Scarlett; and many friends and loved ones.
A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Washington Avenue Church of Christ at 3pm, with Aaron Dodson officiating.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 2pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
