Jonesboro, AR (JonesboroRightNow.com) – October 13, 2023 – In the upcoming production of “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” by The Link Theatre, Broadway actor Matt Wood will take on the role of Charlie Brown.
Joining him are Kendyl Ito from NYC as Snoopy and Cara Rose DiPietro as Sally Brown. Recent graduates from A-State, Madison Stewart and Jharel Jerez, will portray Lucy and Schroeder respectively, while current A-State student Michael Joseph will play Linus.
Directing and choreographing the production is Broadway veteran Joe Langworth, with set, lighting, and costume designs provided by Arkansas State University Department of Theatre faculty members Claire Abernathy and Jeff McLaughlin. Music direction will be overseen by Mary Medrick.
Based on the beloved comic strip by Charles Schulz, this family-friendly musical delves into the lives of Charlie Brown and his friends in the peanut gang, offering a delightful blend of charm, wit, and heart.
Performances are scheduled for December 14th to 17th, 2023, at the Fowler Center on the campus of Arkansas State University, with evening shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30, and matinee performances on Saturday at 2:00 and Sunday at 2:30.
