Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Diners can enjoy a night of fellowship, good food, and thanksgiving in November, all while supporting the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.
Native Brew Works’ 5th annual Friendsgiving is scheduled for mid-November and promises patrons a traditional Thanksgiving meal brought together by multiple area restaurants. Native will be partnering with the Parsonage, Rec Room, and Southern Confections to supply the meal.

Native will be cooking the turkey; The Parsonage will be supplying cranberry sauce, scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes and dressing; the Rec Room will be providing green bean casserole, rolls, and banana pudding; and Southern Confections will be making rolls and cobbler. Native will also have a special pecan brown ale available for purchase only during the event.
“It’s cool that everyone passes on what they’re really good at, and that’s why a lot of people were like ‘It’s the best Thanksgiving meal you’ll ever have,'” said Native marketing coordinator Lindsey Spencer. “At home or something, someone might be really good at one thing but not good at another, but this is like everyone who’s really good at their craft and it’s something working together to bring a really delicious meal.”
Proceeds from ticket purchases will benefit the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, which every Friendsgiving has benefited. Last year’s event raised over $7,000, and Spencer said the restaurant hoped to exceed that amount this year.

“Food brings people together to celebrate, to enjoy conversation over a meal, and unfortunately, food is an insecurity for a lot of people,” Spencer said. “The Food Bank meets that need, so I think it’s really important for us to help meet that need, to support an organization that’s doing a great job serving our community, but to do it in a way that matters a lot to us, to bring our community together, to eat really good food, to have a great time, and still support an organization at the same time.”
Hunger affects all 75 Arkansas counties, with 639,490 people struggling with food insecurity, according to Feeding America. In Craighead County, 20% of people struggle with food insecurity, out of a county-wide population of 111,231, according to a 2025 study from the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.
Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at $40 per plate through Oct. 31. Purchasing pre-sale tickets guarantees a diner a spot, as tickets are limited to 200 total. Tickets increase to $45 on Nov. 1. Drinks are not included in ticket prices, and this event is for ages 21 and up. Tickets can be purchased here.
In addition to meal tickets, Native will also have pre-cooked turkeys available for purchase and pickup, with those proceeds to also benefit the Food Bank of NEA. More information, including pricing and pickup times, will be released in the coming days, Spencer said.
Friendsgiving is set for Monday, Nov. 16 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Native Brew Works, located at 515 S. Gee St. The restaurant will be open to ticketholders only that day.
“This is such a cool way for local businesses to work together, to support a great organization in our community, by bringing our community of supporters together for great people,” Spencer said.
