The charges stem from an investigation that began on Sept. 21, when Jonesboro police officers responded to a business in the 4200 block of Caraway Road for a theft. There, two separate reports from two victims were given, claiming jewelry was taken and Watson was named a suspect.
According to the probable cause affidavit, during the course of two weeks, multiple other thefts were reported at the incident location totaling over $10,000 in jewelry stolen. Detectives learned that Watson had been employed at the business since May 2025. Online resources showed Watson had sold several jewelry-related items to different pawn shops in the area.
On Oct. 2, detectives confirmed that one of the items sold had been stolen from a separate victim and was sold by Watson. Detectives contacted Watson at work where she was placed in handcuffs.
The affidavit said before she was placed in the patrol vehicle, Watson admitted having a pipe on her. A search of Watson revealed a baggie of three grams of suspected meth and a glass pipe with white residue, also suspected of being meth.
During a Mirandized interview, Watson admitted to detectives that she entered three of the victims’ rooms and taking jewelry while inside, while denying going into other rooms. She said she then took the jewelry to local pawn shops and sold the items.
Watson is being held on a $75,000 cash/surety bond awaiting her next court appearance scheduled for Nov. 23.
