Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – Family Crisis Center announced that Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Rheanna Siebert was presented with the Core Values Award during the Arkansas Forensic Nurses Association Conference.

The award recognizes Siebert for her embodiment of the core values of the Arkansas Forensic Nurses Association, her dedication to forensic nursing and her commitment to helping end the cycles of domestic and intimate partner violence.

Siebert was nominated for the award by her fellow SANEs who serve Family Crisis Center on a contracted, on-call basis.

Siebert serves as FCC’s full-time SANE through the agency’s Sexual Assault Support Services Center, where she provides compassionate, trauma-informed forensic care to survivors of sexual violence. Her work also extends beyond direct patient care.

She continues to educate community members and partner agencies about FCC’s sexual assault services while working to recruit, train and support additional SANEs to strengthen the program and expand access to forensic exams throughout Northeast Arkansas.

Rheanna embodies that commitment, and the fact that her fellow SANEs nominated her for this honor speaks volumes about the respect they have for her and the work she is doing.”

Family Crisis Center provides services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence which include but are not limited to emergency shelter and a 24/7 crisis hotline, outreach advocacy, therapy and support services, sexual assault support services, including on-site forensic exams, and prevention and education.
