Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – A Jonesboro man faces multiple counts of possession or use of child sexual abuse material after police said they traced an online account containing illicit videos to his home network.
District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause Sept. 23 to charge 35-year-old Gregory Curtis Daffron with 44 counts of the class B felony.

The charges stem from an investigation in early September following two cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). According to a probable cause affidavit, the tips flagged a Google account that had uploaded 44 videos containing child sexual abuse material.
Google provided the account’s IP address, email address, and date of birth. The Arkansas State Police served a subpoena to the local internet provider, tracing the IP address to a Jonesboro home. Police said investigators confirmed that Daffron resided at the home and that his date of birth matched the one registered to the account.
On the morning of Sept. 22, the Jonesboro Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division and SWAT team, alongside U.S. Marshals and the FBI, executed a search warrant at the home. Daffron was arrested, and investigators seized electronic devices from the property.
At Wednesday’s hearing, Judge Fowler set Daffron’s bond at $250,000 cash/surety and prohibited him from accessing the internet on any devices. Fowler added that Daffron could potentially face more charges, noting the total count could exceed 100.
Daffron’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 26.
