Piggott, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Due to the extreme heat conditions forecasted for this weekend, Pumpkin Hollow has announced it will be closed for daytime activities on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20.

According to an update shared on the Pumpkin Hollow Facebook page, the decision was made out of an abundance of caution regarding the upcoming temperatures.

“The safety and well-being of our guests, employees, and animals are incredibly important to us, and we feel this is the best decision to keep everyone safe during the extreme temperatures,” the organization said.

Pumpkin Hollow’s activities will now officially kick off on Saturday, Sept. 26.

However, thrill-seekers won’t be entirely left out this weekend. Organizers noted that the nighttime attraction, Horror in the Hollow, will go on as scheduled Sept. 19.
