Jonesboro- Jeff Stephen “Steve” Mullen, 61, passed from this life, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born August 18, 1962 in Jonesboro to the late Jeff and Inez Simpson Mullen. Steve was raised in Monette and graduated in 1980 from Monette High School. Steve’s first job was with his brother, Lester where he learned to build homes. He retired after twenty-five years as manager of Grisham Art in Jonesboro and moved to Mountain Home and was the manager of Carlton Resorts for a few years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with wood. Steve loved his family and enjoyed being with them.
He is survived by his children, Sonia Boling (Ted) of Jonesboro, Candis Stephens (Brett) of Cherry Valley and Ryan Baldridge of Brookland; brother, Lester Mullen (Barbara) of Monette; sister, Marla Ann Mullen of Frisco, Texas; brother-in-law, Vernon Wood of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Cale Boling, Kinley Boling, Celeste Robinette, Ciara Stephens, Bridger Stephens, Olivia Baldridge; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Mullen; three sisters, Brenda Wood, Donna Rolland and Gaye Rolland; brothers-in-laws, Glenn Rolland and Larry Rolland.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Floyd officiating. Interment will private.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Grisham, Chris Rolland, Mark Rolland, Jered Rolland, Justin Rolland, Keith Mullen, Kevin Mullen, Matt Rolland, Danny Baldridge, Brian Rogers and Tim McDaniel.
