Paragould, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – A Paragould man is facing a felony third-degree domestic battering charge after police said he slammed his wife’s face into a mirror and cut her with shards from a broken vase.
Walter Kimble, 62, was arrested and booked into the Greene County Detention Center on Aug. 23, the inmate roster shows.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Paragould police responded to a domestic disturbance call earlier that day.

Upon arrival, officers observed bleeding on the right side of the victim’s face. The victim told police that her husband, Kimble, slammed her face into their bathroom mirror and used broken vase shards to cut her.
The affidavit noted Kimble had previously pled guilty to third-degree domestic battering in 2024.

District Court Judge Curtis Hitt set Kimble’s bond at $150,000 cash/surety. As conditions of his release, Kimble is ordered not to have any contact the victim, prohibited from possessing weapons, and required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
