Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 10, 2024 – According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, weather permitting, County Road 900 (Prospect Road) will temporarily close between County Road 901 (Kathleen Street) and Easley Lane beginning 9 a.m. Monday, May 13 until Friday, May 24.
The closure will allow crews to conduct construction operations for the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive extension project, which will connect Interstate 555 and Highway 49.
A detour is established across County Road 901 (Kathleen Street), County Road 532 (Pacific Road), and Easley Lane.
Additionally, Highway 230, between Highway 91 and Highway 63, will be closed on Wednesday, May 15 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow crews to repair culverts near Bono. Detouring traffic can take Highway 91 and Highway 63.
Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, barricades, message boards, and signage.
Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in these areas.
