Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – A detention center officer at the Craighead County Sheriff’s Office has been terminated.

According to a news release from Craighead County Sheriff’s Office Marty Boyd, detention center officer Ashton Rose was terminated after an investigation regarding misconduct.

The release added that Craighead County prosecuting attorneys reviewed the findings and issued a warrant for sexual assault in the second degree.

Rose was arrested on Aug. 11 at 10:32 a.m. and was released at 11:05 a.m., according to the online jail roster. He is awaiting a bond hearing.
